Your Baby Can Read can be an early language development process for infants and little ones. Based on the investigation of Dr. Robert Titzer, the DVDs employ whole reading and a few phonics to help infants learn language patterns through an optimal time as soon as their brains are developing rapidly and they are intensely focused on getting your hands on language patterns.

According to Dr. Titzer, babies can learn the particular patterns of written language just as naturally and easily when they learn the patterns associated with spoken language. Often though, babies are not exposed to enough written language with this learning to occur. The Your Baby Can Read! system contains five DVDs that are focused on helping babies and kids around five years old learn to read by giving these a multi-sensory experience with heavy contact with print.

I've been seeing the infomercial to the Your Baby Can Read program and was very intrigued! But I'm never the kind to just jump about the phone and order what intrigues me. I did some quick research and read up on some reviews - as well as the result is mixed.

While it's great, and proven, that the children normally have positive results, "reading" words and recognizing what they're, but then I wonder if it's actual reading or simply just memorization. And even I have learned about The Hurried Child by David Elkin. I've never actually look at book, but I've learned regarding the results/outcome of his book in various courses throughout my schooling, K-12 and Uni.

The Your Baby Can Read program is founded on the fact that baby uses associations to study new things. It will show them what the term looks like, show them a picture on the word in action, and let the baby hear the sounds of the word in action at the same time. So using the senses of sight and sound, your child is currently being entertained by seeing every one of the pieces come together.

Ever wonder why kids can learn a fresh language MUCH faster than you'll be able to? Their brains are just geared to learning language a lot better than ours at that age group, and there's no motive to stifle that. My kids are in a position to excel in their universities because we started at such an early age, and this makes fewer head aches for me in wanting to help them with their particular homework.

I have seen the Your Baby Can Read infomercials countless times, but I was anxious to put it to use myself with my own toddler and see the results.

I must admit, the Early Learning Workshop DVD that accompany the program, which you are encouraged to look at before beginning this program with your child, is VERY overwhelming. It is long and unless you then have a great attention span (I do not) you may well skip the DVD, read the Parents guide and just get started.
